Introduction
The fifth-largest loch in Scotland by surface area, Loch Morar is also the deepest freshwater loch in the British Isles. Found in Lochaber, the loch separates three villages – Morar on the north side and Arisaig and Moidart on the south. The loch is rumoured to be the home of the Morag monster, a mythical beast like the Loch Ness Monster.
