Knoydart Pottery and Tea Room

A tea room and pottery by the pier at Inverie, on the water's edge of Loch Nevis, with breakfasts, scones and cakes.

Right by the pier at Inverie, in the old Pier Stores, the Knoydart Pottery and Tea Room sits on the rocky edge of Loch Nevis, a white timber building with a veranda over the water.

Inside, wooden tables look out through a big window across the loch to the hills.

It is a favourite with walkers. People arrive after the long hike in and settle down for hours over breakfast, and others time their last meal on Knoydart to the moment the boat leaves. Visitors praise the breakfasts, the scones and the friendly welcome, and there are light lunches and cakes too.

The tea room opens from Monday to Friday, from nine until three, and it is closed at weekends.
