Speyside Coffee Roasting Co

A small coffee roastery and cafe in the village of Garmouth, roasting its beans in small batches and serving coffee and pastries.

In the little village of Garmouth, near where the Spey meets the sea, Speyside Coffee Roasting Co roasts its beans on site and pours them in a cosy cafe beside the roaster.

It began in 2017 in the old games room of the Garmouth Hotel, and it has since moved next door to Kirk Cottage, with more room to roast and seats inside and out.

The beans are roasted in small batches from a short list of carefully chosen coffees, including single origins and a coffee aged in whisky barrels, and on roasting day the whole village smells of it. Many visitors leave with a bag of beans.

The cafe opens from Tuesday to Saturday, closing mid-afternoon. It is taking a short break until Thursday 8 October 2026.
