La Fiorentina has been cooking the food of Tuscany and the rest of Italy on Paisley Road West since 1989, at the Paisley Road Toll just south of the Clyde.

It is a warm, family-style Italian restaurant, with flowers and garlands round its windows.

The kitchen cooks Italian dishes with Scottish seasonal produce: bruschetta heaped with tomato and a soft cheese, antipasti, fresh pasta, fish and meat from the grill, and pizzas from the oven, followed by chocolate torte and a glass of something Italian. Wines and aperitivi run through the list, from spritzes to prosecco. Lunch is served from Tuesday to Friday, dinner every evening but Monday, and it is open all day on Saturday and from one on Sunday. It is a short walk from Kinning Park and the south end of the Kingston Bridge, and easy to reach from the city centre.

La Fiorentina is closed on Monday.

From Tuesday to Friday it opens from noon to 2.30pm and 5pm to 9.30pm, on Saturday from noon to 10.15pm and on Sunday from 1pm to 9pm.
