Once known as Ruthven Castle, Huntingtower can trace its origins back to the 15th century. Visited frequently by historic royalty and once the site of a plotted kidnap of James, the son of Mary Queen of Scots, the castle is supposedly haunted by the ‘Lady of Greensleeves’. If you see her, legend says misfortune will come upon you soon after.
