Dewars Centre

Perth's ice rink and sports centre on Glover Street, a home of Scottish curling, with indoor bowls, a gym and halls for shows and events.

Welcome

On Glover Street, on the west side of Perth a short walk from the railway station, the Dewars Centre is the city's ice rink and one of the homes of Scottish curling, with ice for curling through the season.

Under the long roof of the main hall, sheets of pebbled ice are marked out with their painted rings, and through the season Perth's many curling clubs play here, with competitions large and small, from club leagues to international bonspiels that draw teams from across the world. The centre is more than ice: there is an indoor bowling green, a gym, and big halls that fill with fairs, shows and events through the year.

It is a place to watch a game, or to ask the clubs about trying one. The ice is busiest in the curling season, from autumn into spring.
