Welcome

On the Whitehill House estate near Rosewell, south of Edinburgh, the golf clubhouse keeps a small cafe.

Angelina Coffee Snug was started by Angela, who turned her love of good food into a coffee shop of her own, and she makes everything fresh, using produce from around Midlothian.

The menu changes every day, with new recipes tried out all the time, but the cakes and scones are what people come back for, with pots of tea and good coffee. Walkers on the estate's paths stop in on their way round.

The cafe is open on weekdays; the Google hours below show the times. It is a short drive from Roslin and Rosslyn Chapel.

We want to show you the best that Scotland has to offer. The makers and the creatives, the enduring experiences, the evocative tales, the concealed corners.
