Edinburgh’s long-running vegetarian restaurant Hendersons is set to open its first venue outside the capital, taking over the former Seven21 unit in Glasgow’s Southside.

The family-run restaurant will continue its focus on seasonal Scottish produce, featuring dishes such as vegetarian haggis, salt-baked celeriac, and plant-based Cullen skink, alongside weekend brunches and vegan Sunday roasts.

Founder Barrie Henderson, whose grandmother opened the original Hendersons in 1962, says the Glasgow move reconnects the business with its roots. Executive Chef Anna Czapiewska will oversee both kitchens.
