The Village Rest is a restaurant and café in a long, low whitewashed cottage with a red timber porch on Pier Road in Luss, a few steps from the loch, and it is one of the busiest places to eat in the village.

The menu changes with the seasons and leans on local produce.

It serves from breakfast to dinner. A full Scottish breakfast is served until mid-morning, lunch runs through the afternoon, and in the evening there is a dinner menu until 8pm, or 8.30pm on Friday and Saturday; the Rest 'N' Go counter does takeaways all day. Inside it is warm and comfortable, a good place to recover after a day on the loch or a walk in the hills. It opens every day from 10am.
