The Coach House Coffee Shop stands on Church Road in the middle of Luss, a stone building made from the ruin of the village's old coach house, and it has been one of the best-loved stops on Loch Lomond since it opened in 1997.

Its owner, Rowena, has run it for more than twenty-five years, and it has a character all its own: tartan crockery, rustic tables and a cosy, welcoming room.

It is known for its soups, four to choose from, each big enough to call a meal and served with a hunk of locally baked bread, and for its home baking, speciality coffees and teas and light meals made with local produce, including eggs from its own free-range hens. There are vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices. Dogs are made very welcome, with treats and water on hand, and there is a small shop of Scottish goods. It opens every day from 10am to 4pm.
