Loch Lomond

Loch Lomond Golf Club

Parkland golf beside Loch Lomond since 1993, par 71 over about 7,100 yards from the back tees. Members and their guests only.

Welcome

There's something special about golf beside a great Scottish loch, and Loch Lomond has one of the loveliest settings of any course in the country.

It lies on the west shore at Rossdhu, near Luss, laid out by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish and opened in 1993, with seven holes running beside the water and the hills behind. The Scottish Open was played here for more than a decade until 2010, and Europe won the Solheim Cup here in 2000. It's a private members' club, though, so only members and their guests can play. The clubhouse is Rossdhu House, the Colquhouns' Georgian mansion of 1773.

She visited in 1563. The castle was left a ruin by fire after the Colquhouns built Rossdhu House, now the clubhouse, in 1773.
