Welcome

The Galleon is a family-run bistro in Tobermory, a little way up the brae from the Main Street and the harbour.

Its menus change every week and sometimes every day, inspired by what the island's larder has to give, and the cooking does not overcomplicate the plate: quality, not quantity. The room, under a high ceiling with a round window, is bright and simple, with a staircase up to more tables.

It serves lunch from noon to 2pm and dinner from 6pm to 10pm, from Tuesday to Saturday, and is closed on Sunday and Monday. If you have preferences or dietary needs, let them know ahead and they will look after you. To find it, head down the Main Street and up Post Office Brae. The harbour front, the Hebridean Whale Centre and the distillery are all a few minutes' walk away.
