Welcome

Upstairs at the Mishnish, on Tobermory's colourful Main Street, An Cala Ciùin is where the best of Mull's larder ends up on a tasting menu.

Head chef Ross Caithness builds his menus almost entirely from the island and the waters around it: smoked trout from the Tobermory Fish Company, Inverlussa mussels, Tobermory langoustines, Mull scallops, and beef, lamb and venison from Glengorm. Even the petit fours come with a Ledaig whisky jelly. Choose the full signature tasting menu, a shorter seven courses or the set lunch, with a vegetarian tasting menu too, and paired wines if you'd like them. The dining room is on the first floor of the hotel, through reception, with views out to the harbour, and it's a gorgeous setting for a long lunch or a special evening. It's open Wednesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner, the menu changes with the seasons, and it's best to book ahead through its own website.
