Brown's Tobermory
A long-established family shop on Tobermory's Main Street selling hardware, kitchenware, wines and malt whisky.
Brown's is a long-established family shop on Tobermory's Main Street, a blue-fronted building on the harbour that sells an eclectic range of things, the kind of island shop where you can find almost anything.
On one side it is a wine merchant, with affordable wines, malt whiskies, some of them rare, Hebridean gins and a wide range of liqueurs and spirits.
On the other it is an ironmonger: hardware, tools, plumbing parts, specialist paint and varnish, small appliances and electrical goods, batteries and bulbs of every kind, kitchenware and bakeware, glasses and crockery, cleaning products and pet supplies, and it cuts keys too. If what you need is not in stock, the staff will do their best to get it for you. It is open from Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, and closed on Sunday. Café Fish and the Hebridean Whale Centre are a few doors along the same stretch of Main Street.

Open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm; closed Sunday.
