Welcome

There's something special about stepping off Miller Street and heading downstairs into Sebb's, a basement bar and restaurant beneath its sister Margo in the Merchant City.

The food is cooked over fire and roams the world, so a table might share native oysters with a whisky pickleback, pakora with piccalilli, sea bream with tomatillo salsa, and a half chicken with harissa and pilaf rice. Behind the bar there's a cocktail kitchen of its own and wines on tap, and in 2026 the Michelin Guide gave Sebb's a Bib Gourmand for good food at a fair price, along with its Exceptional Cocktails Award. A big sound system and a changing line-up of DJs keep the room lively into the night. The kitchen is open every day from noon until quarter to ten, and the bar until midnight. Book a table for dinner or just for drinks through its own site, or join the online queue on the day for a walk-in seat, some of them stools at the bar.
