Love Pittenweem

Restored seaside homes in Pittenweem, all a minute or two from the harbour, for two to four.

Welcome

A cottage from 1590, an old stone stable, a house above the harbour and a bright studio, in a fishing village on the East Neuk of Fife.

Mel and Dom have called Pittenweem home for years, and they've restored these places to stay in the village, each a minute or two from the harbour. Maybell Cottage dates back to 1590 and was restored by an American architect, with a cooking fireplace and a walled garden. The Old Stable is a tiny stone building made into a hideaway for two, and the Crow's Nest looks over the harbour and the village. Fifies is a bright studio just up the wynd from the beach. Pittenweem is a working fishing village of wynds, galleries and bakeries on the Fife Coastal Path, and Mel and Dom send every guest their insider's guide to the East Neuk.

Sea air. Harbour walks. Fresh bread. Hidden wynds. Cosy evenings. This is the East Neuk we fell in love with.

Scotland, in print.

We want to show you the best that Scotland has to offer. The makers and the creatives, the enduring experiences, the evocative tales, the concealed corners. The roads less travelled that take you to places that matter. The adventures that gather you up and sweep you away. The blend of the wild and the artistic that makes Scotland what it is. We’d love for you to join us.
