Kelso Abbey
Introduction
Though now surrounded by contemporary buildings, the ruins of Kelso Abbey are a great reminder of the long history the area holds. Dating back to the 12th century when Tironensian monks were brought to Scotland, the abbey is one of five that appear on the Borders Abbeys Way walk across Southern Scotland.
