SCHLOSS Roxburghe

A country resort near Kelso built round the old Sunlaws House, with a spa, a championship golf course, three restaurants and country sports.

Welcome

Just outside Kelso, the old manor of Sunlaws House, with its gables, tall chimneys and round tower, stands on a large country estate.

Today it is SCHLOSS Roxburghe, a resort with rooms in the historic house, in a modern Estate House and in cottages around the grounds.

The estate has a championship golf course, a spa with a heated outdoor pool, and a country sports centre for fishing, shooting and field sports, as well as a kids' club and wildlife outings. Food is a big part of it: produce grown on the estate goes into the dishes at Sunlaws, the fine dining room, as well as at Charlie's and Bar 1745.

The resort is a little over an hour's drive from Edinburgh, and Kelso is close by.
