Flourish
A shop of handmade and Scottish-made gifts, homeware, cards and art on the High Street in Dumfries, with artists' studios above.
On the High Street in Dumfries, behind a blue shopfront, Flourish is a shop full of handmade and Scottish-made things: homeware, prints and art, cards, gifts and beauty products, set out on tables and shelves in a bright room.
Much of what is on sale is made by makers from the region, and upstairs local artists rent studios, so the building is busy with people making as well as selling. The crafts are varied and the staff friendly, and there has been a refill service for household and beauty products.
Flourish opens from Tuesday to Saturday, from ten until half past four. It is a short walk from the Burns statue and the Globe Inn.

Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4.30pm; closed Monday.
