East Scryne Fruit
A fruit farm near Carnoustie with a summer farm shop, a vintage tea room, strawberry tarts, fruit ice cream and a play park with goats.
In the farmland just north of Carnoustie, East Scryne grows soft fruit, and every summer it opens its farm shop and tea room to visitors.
The berries are picked in the fields each morning, strawberries and raspberries, blueberries and more, and go straight into the shop and the kitchen.
The tea room is vintage in style, with a painted counter and chalkboards, and serves barista coffee, scones, fresh strawberry tarts and meringues, and ice cream mixed to order with fresh fruit. The shop sells punnets of berries, eggs, home-made jams and the farm's own lemon curd. Outside there is a play park with a bouncy pillow, a straw bale castle, a sandpit and picnic tables, and miniature cashmere goats to feed and pet.
East Scryne opens every day from mid-April to September.
