Clach Biorach
Introduction
Taking its name from the Gaelic meaning ‘the pointed stone’, the Clach Biorach is a Class I Pictish stone found in Easter Ross. Dating back to the Neolithic or Bronze Age, the distinctive carvings are believed to have been a marker for the grave of a Prince of Denmark who had been killed in a nearby battle.
