Ardjachie Stone

Welcome

An unnamed and undecorated slab of sandstone, this boulder is believed to date back all the way to the Bronze Era and be an early example of a Class I Pictish Stone.

It was discovered in the 1960s by local farmers and now marks the entrance to the Tain Museum.
