Aberdeen

From Old Aberdeen to the esplanade.

Aberdeen's cafés are spread right across the city, and each corner has its own character. In Old Aberdeen there are small cafés on the cobbled High Street and a busy sandwich shop on the Spital, near the university. The west end has neighbourhood cafés with covered terraces, treats for dogs and generous breakfasts. Down at the beach, a sunny terrace and a vegan hut face the sea along the esplanade. There's a café inside the art gallery on Schoolhill, and a pink one in a railway arch by the station. Many bake their own cakes, so leave room for a slice.
