The Whisky Island Gallery and Studio is the photography studio and gallery of Konrad Borkowski, at the Pier Garage by Craighouse Big Pier, next to Deer Island Rum and Camella Crafts.

It is a dark timber building with big windows, and inside, his prints of the landscapes of Islay and Jura hang on white walls, with the view outside running across Small Isles Bay to the Paps of Jura.

You can buy a print, join one of his photography classes, or book a photoshoot, in the studio or out in the landscape on Islay or Jura; prints can be sent anywhere in the world. In summer it opens from Monday to Friday, 11am to 4.30pm, and on Saturday from 11am to 3.30pm, and it is shut over Easter. It is a short walk from the passenger ferry pontoons and the distillery, and a good stop on a day spent in Craighouse.

Passenger ferry from Tayvallich to Craighouse (April to September), or via Islay: Port Askaig to Feolin.
