Introduction

Considered one of the best beaches on the island – amazing seeing as the island is relatively small – Corran Sands is one of the most popular destinations beyond the town of Craighouse. At low tide, there’s plenty of soft, white sand to walk along, divided in half by the Corran River. With the dramatic backdrop of the Paps of Jura, the beach is the perfect place to take in some sea air.
