Inverlussa
Introduction
Fourteen miles from Craighouse is Inverlussa, a mall hamlet that sits on the east side of the island. With homes generally constructed in a linear fashion – i.e. in one long line – the name of the hamlet comes from the Gaelic, meaning ‘the mouth of the bright river’. Inverlussa is home to Tea on the Beach and a beautiful stretch of white sand beach perfect for taking in the majesty of the nearby bay.
