Welcome

Jura Guided is Grant Rozga, an islander who takes people walking on Jura and shapes each walk to whoever is on it, from beginners to seasoned hillwalkers.

The longest of his day walks starts at the end of the island's one road. It goes out past Barnhill, where George Orwell wrote Nineteen Eighty-Four, to the Corryvreckan whirlpool at the northern tip, six and a half to seven and a half hours there and back. Others climb the Paps, reach the remote bothies, follow the shore to old townships or go in among the lochs and waterfalls. Walks can be booked for one person or a group, and a packed lunch from the Island Bakehouse can be added.
