Welcome

Tarragon on the Terrace is the relaxed younger sister of Graham Mitchell's Tarragon in Rosemount, on Union Terrace with views out over Union Terrace Gardens.

It's an easy, laid-back place for lunch, an early dinner before a show, or a glass of wine with friends, and the menu is inspired by the land and sea around Aberdeen, using ingredients from local farms, harbours and producers. Graham is an award-winning chef, and he and Clare, who has more than 20 years in hospitality, run both restaurants together. Ask for a table by the big windows and watch the city go by over the gardens. His Majesty's Theatre stands at the top of the street, so it's a handy choice before a performance. It opens from lunchtime Tuesday to Saturday and stays open late on Friday and Saturday, and you can book a table through its website.
