Introduction
On a remote peninsula in the north of the island Roger and Andrea Holden use traditional pedal-powered looms in the weaving shed next to their old croft house, the wool from the Cheviot hoggs on the community-owned Glendale estate, to make tweed (caps, cushions – and curtains) and woollen throws, blankets and scarfs.
