Jamieson's Farm Shop
A small family farm on the edge of Cove Bay whose shop opens on Sundays, with its own vegetables, eggs and outdoor-reared pork, and crab and lobster from its own boat.
Jamieson's is a small family farm on the edge of Cove Bay, on the south side of Aberdeen, and its farm shop opens every Sunday from ten until two.
Roy bought his first piece of land at sixteen and began growing fruit and vegetables with his dad, and today he and Rachel run the 30-acre farm with their children, Chloe and Charlie. Almost everything is their own: potatoes, carrots, beetroot, leeks, cauliflower and more as the seasons turn, free-range eggs, and outdoor-reared pork from the farm's Saddleback and Tamworth pigs. Roy also fishes his own creels out of Aberdeen Harbour, so there's fresh crab, lobster and whelks on the counter at the weekend, with dressed crab and lobster rolls. In October the family opens a pumpkin patch, with a neep patch for carving one the old Scottish way, and tickets are booked by the car. Dogs on a lead are welcome on the farm, and parking is free.

The shop opens on Sundays only; the pumpkin patch in October is booked ahead, one ticket a car.
