Garden House Trading

A gift shop in a curved sandstone corner building on the Square in Cullen, full of cards, homewares, candles, scarves and souvenirs.

Call
Welcome

On the Square in Cullen, a curved sandstone building on the corner holds Garden House Trading, a gift shop that visitors love to browse.

Its sign hangs over a door flanked by painted boards and windows full of pretty things.

Inside, the shelves are crowded with cards, candles, soft furnishings and home decorations, hats, gloves and scarves for the Moray winds, mirrors, cuddly Jellycat toys and souvenirs featuring Highland coos. Visitors mention the fair prices and the friendly owner, who wraps fragile things with care for the journey home.

The shop opens from eleven, Tuesday to Saturday, and from noon on Sundays, and closes at four. It is a pleasant stop on a wander round the Square, between a bowl of Cullen skink and a walk down under the viaduct to the beach.

Hidden Scotland, the magazine

Scotland, in print.

We want to show you the best that Scotland has to offer. The makers and the creatives, the enduring experiences, the evocative tales, the concealed corners. The roads less travelled that take you to places that matter. The adventures that gather you up and sweep you away. The blend of the wild and the artistic that makes Scotland what it is. We’d love for you to join us.
