Forest of the Falls Café

The cafe at the start of the Eas Mor trail above Kildonan, with home cooking, pizzas and burgers, and tables in a garden and a timber shelter.

Call
Welcome

The Forest of the Falls sits at the start of the Eas Mor trail in the woods above Kildonan, a cafe with a garden of tables and parasols and a big timber shelter for rainy days.

It makes a good start or finish to a walk to the waterfall and the Library in the Woods.

The cooking is homemade and generous. The pizzas are the favourite, with burgers, soups, sandwiches, cakes and good coffee. There are plenty of vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free choices, and the portions are big. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the view from the tables stretches over the trees to the sea.

The cafe opens every day from 10am, and stays open until 7.30pm from Friday to Sunday. The car park is small, so take care when you pull in.
