Welcome

Caffe Monza sits on the corner of Dumbarton Road and Vine Street in Partick, a few minutes from Partick station, behind a bright blue front that is hard to miss.

It is an independent coffee and sandwich shop, open early for commuters, from seven on weekday mornings, eight on Saturday and nine on Sunday.

Inside is a long room with tiled floors, dark booths and a wall of greenery, and a counter stacked with filled rolls, sandwiches and ciabattas, pastries and cakes, and a fridge of cold drinks. Breakfasts and lunches run from bacon rolls to soup of the day with a toastie, and the coffee comes in the café's own branded cups, with latte art on top. There are a few tables on the pavement outside on dry days. It is a handy stop before or after the Riverside Museum or a walk along the Kelvin, and it stays open until six on weekdays and Saturdays and five on Sundays.
