Places to Stay in the Cairngorms with a Hot Tub

After a day on the hills or in the forest, you can sink into hot water under a big Cairngorms sky. These are the places to stay in the national park with a hot tub or a sauna to warm you up.

Updated 23 September 2026. Across the Cairngorms.

The Cairngorms is made for long days outdoors, whether you're climbing onto the high tops, cycling the forest trails or walking by the river. The loveliest way to end them is outside in the warm water, watching the sky change colour over the mountains. On a clear night, the stars come out over the glens.

We've gathered places in the park where you can do exactly that. There's a Victorian gatehouse tower on the banks of the River Tanar with a private hot tub for two. There's a stalker's cottage with a wood-fired tub and mountain views from the bedroom window. Near Kingussie, an old farmhouse and its hayloft share a sauna yurt and a cold plunge, with a hearty supper waiting afterwards. Bring your swimming things and something warm for the walk back indoors.
