Places to Stay in Perthshire with a Hot Tub

Perthshire is a place of big rivers, deep lochs and wooded glens, and it's at its loveliest seen from a hot tub, with the steam rising around you. Climb in as the light goes, watch the trees turn dark against the sky, and stay put until the stars come out. On a frosty winter night it's even better.

We've gathered our favourites. There are off-grid huts high on a hillside with wood-burning hot tubs, and a grand house in Aberfeldy with a cedar hot tub in the woods big enough for a crowd. A country house hotel near Perth has pods with their own outdoor hot tubs, and there's a cottage near Dunkeld and a farmhouse on a country estate with tubs of their own. If you'd rather have a bath, there are cabins and cottages with outdoor baths, one of them on the edge of a loch. Beside Loch Rannoch, little cabins share a sauna among the trees.
