Brought up in Scotland, Louis is interested in myth, nature and culture. Along with his horse Sasha, he travelled 111 days across Europe, creating the first conclusive horse-trail across the Ligurian Alps in recorded history. His debut book, In Green (Longlisted for the Saltire Book Awards), follows this journey.
