Whisky tours

Distillery visits and tastings, from Glenkinchie near Edinburgh to Talisker on Skye.

A whisky tour means someone else is driving, which is the best way to enjoy a tasting. From Edinburgh there's a day built around two Perthshire distilleries, Dewar's Aberfeldy and Glenturret, and the Borders day finishes at Glenkinchie. Further north there's Talisker on Skye and Blair Athol in Pitlochry, cruise passengers at Invergordon can visit Glen Ord, and the Black Isle day stops at a brewery. Tastings are usually extra, so add them when you book.

How we choose

We say how long is spent on the road

Every tour shows when you leave, when you're back and how many hours are on the road, worked out on our own road maps. A long coach day isn't for everyone, and it's better to know before you book.

We say exactly where you meet

Each tour gives the meeting point, the time to be there and a map, so the morning starts calmly.

We say who runs it

You book with the company that runs the tour, and every tour shows who they are and how to reach them.

Questions people ask

Is entry to castles and distilleries included?

Usually not. Castle tickets, cruises and distillery tastings are extras you add when you book, or pay on the day, and each tour's page lists them with their prices.

Not sure which to choose?

Tell us where you’re starting and what you’d love to see, and we’ll find the tour that suits you.
