Two Highland distilleries in a day from Edinburgh, with tastings and a lunch in Aberfeldy.

This is the day for whisky lovers. From Edinburgh you head north into Perthshire to Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery, where you can add their whisky and chocolate tasting, then have lunch in the town of Aberfeldy on the River Tay. The afternoon is at Glenturret near Crieff, which is one of the oldest working distilleries in Scotland, and the photo stop on the way home is the Forth Bridges. It's a small group of no more than 19, and the scenery through Perthshire is lovely, especially in autumn. Tastings are extra, so add them when you book.
