Cafés
in Lochaber.
Lighthouse cakes and island tea rooms.
Lochaber's cafés tend to sit right where you land. On Eigg, the café and bar at the pier is the first building you reach, with big windows over the bay. Canna's little restaurant by the harbour cooks almost everything from the island. At Inverie there's a tea room on the edge of Loch Nevis, a favourite with walkers for its breakfasts and scones. At the end of the long road across Ardnamurchan, coffee and home baking are served on the cobbled floor of the lighthouse's old stables. In Fort William, an all-vegan café on the High Street pours speciality coffee. Island cafés keep island seasons, so check before you sail.
