Water Taxi to Culbin Sands
Running across the Moray Firth from Findhorn, the water taxi is the short way to Culbin Sands, one of Scotland’s most remote beaches.
The short crossing delivers passengers straight onto a vast sweep of sand backed by shifting dunes and pine forest, part of a protected National Nature Reserve. Seals and seabirds are often seen on the crossing, and sometimes dolphins. There are no facilities, paths or signs on the far side. The crossing saves the long approach from inland.
