Welcome

TreeZone is a treetop adventure course in the old Caledonian pinewood of Rothiemurchus, just outside Aviemore, where you clip into a harness and make your way through the canopy.

Everyone starts at the TreeZone Fortress and heads out on the TreeCreeper course, with obstacles up to five metres off the ground.

The braver move on to the Buzzard, its big brother, which climbs to fifteen metres over bigger spans, wobblier bridges and wider gaps, with challenges called the Pogo Sticks, Pig Tails, Church Organ and Skipping Ropes, until one last tightrope leads to the Buzzard's Nest. The way back down is a hundred-metre zip line. A session takes about an hour and a half and runs all year. Climbers must be at least eight years old and 1.1 metres tall, and under-twelves need an adult on site, though the adult need not climb. Wear comfortable clothes and outdoor shoes, and book ahead.
