Welcome

The Wee Bookshop is a small independent bookshop and coffee shop on Bridge Street in Dollar, the little town at the foot of the Ochil Hills, and it is run by local people with a real love of books.

It is a calm place and a community hub, with cosy corners to read in and a friendly welcome at the counter.

The shelves hold popular fiction and special-interest books, a big outdoor, travel and nature section covering local walks, cycling and hill climbs, Harvey's maps for the hills, cookery and home, and a large children's and young adult section, and the shop will order in almost anything. There are gifts and homewares with a Scottish and Scandinavian feel, many by local makers. The coffee is good, with sourdough pastries from Wild Hearth Bakery in Comrie and home baking from nearby bakers, and there is a dog-friendly courtyard outside. Author events and book clubs run through the year.
