Taste North is a single-day celebration of local food, drink and crafts held at East Caithness Community Facility in Wick. More than 50 regional producers take part offering seafood, preserves, baked goods, local spirits, coffee and craft products. Cookery demonstrations and cocktail masterclasses feature throughout the day, including the Taste North Challenge baking competition. There is a mix of indoor venue space and community rooms, with walking access from Wick town centre and train station. Entry is free to attend with specific demo sessions potentially ticketed. Activities mix adult visitors and family-friendly features. No dogs permitted inside. The event runs regardless of typical November weather and usually attracts over 2,000 visitors annually.
