Grey Camster Cairns

Built more than 5,000 years ago, this Neolithic landmark is believed to have been a burial site. These complex cairns, which can be found all over the country, were excavated through the 19th and 20th centuries, with some elements restored by archaeologists. It’s now in the care of Historic Environment Scotland and available to tour.
