Welcome

Still Spirit is a whisky shop and tasting room in the countryside on the outskirts of Pitmedden, a village north of Aberdeen best known for its great formal garden.

The building is new, and it is also home to Whisky Hammer, one of the world's leading online whisky auction houses.

The shop carries a fine choice of whiskies, gins and other spirits, and it has a fully stocked dram bar, pouring measures to take away, among them some old and rare whiskies that would be hard to taste anywhere else without buying the whole bottle.

Tasting events are held regularly, hosted by brand ambassadors and whisky experts, for groups of up to sixteen, with tickets sold online. It is an easy stop after a morning at Pitmedden Garden, and Tolquhon Castle, one of the finest ruined castles in the north-east, is a couple of miles away. Glen Garioch distillery at Oldmeldrum is a short drive west.
