A street back from the harbour in Plockton, the Plockton Inn is a stone house with bay windows in the village.

It has recently been thoroughly renovated, with bright, comfortable rooms in the inn and in two houses nearby.

The restaurant makes the most of the fresh seafood landed on this coast, from langoustines to fish, and the cosy bar is the heart of the place, with live music, quiz nights and a good choice of local gins, whiskies and ales. Everyone is welcome, dogs included.

Plockton itself is strung along a sheltered bay of Loch Carron with views across the water to the mountains and Duncraig Castle. The inn opens every day from late morning until midnight.
