Logie Steading

You enter Logie Steading through an archway under a green-domed clock tower, into a cobbled courtyard lined with small independent shops.

There is a wonderful secondhand bookshop whose shelves spill out onto the covered walkway, an art gallery, a whisky and wine shop, and makers selling homewares, textiles, jewellery and clothing, most of it chosen with care and much of it made locally. The cafe is known for good coffee, cakes and lunches made with local produce, with seats inside and out.

Outside there is a playpark for children and signposted walks down to the River Findhorn, famous for its salmon. It makes a good half day out in any weather.
