Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve

This coastal reserve near the village of Golspie covers 1058 hectares of protected natural land, curving around the protected Loch Fleet. More than 100 species of birds call the region home, as well as seals, red squirrels and more than 250 species of fauna. The spacious beach – perfect for walking – is also surrounded by the famed Scots pine trees.
