Welcome

In the village of Inverkeilor, near the sands of Lunan Bay, Gordon's has been a restaurant since 1986, when Gordon and Maria Watson opened it on the main street.

Since Gordon's death in 2016 Maria has run it with their son Garry, who cooks alone in the kitchen while his mother looks after the dining room.

Garry's cooking is modern and precise and built on the Scottish larder, in dishes such as local lamb with seasonal girolles, with fresh bread and butter to begin. The tasting menu fills an evening, and the restaurant holds three AA rosettes and a place in the Michelin Guide.

Upstairs and in the courtyard there are five bedrooms, some with roll-top baths, so that dinner need not end with a drive. Tables and rooms are booked ahead.
