The home of Galloway Lodge's jams, chutneys and Poacher's Pickle in Gatehouse of Fleet, with a cafe and a shop.

In Gatehouse of Fleet, Galloway Lodge makes its preserves by hand: marmalades, jams, jellies, chutneys and mustards, among them the famous Poacher's Pickle, which has found fans far beyond Galloway.

Here in Gatehouse you can buy the whole range in the shop, and sit down in the cafe for homemade food and good coffee. In summer the same team runs the Galloway Burger House on most Friday evenings.

Galloway Lodge opens from Monday to Saturday from nine in the morning, and the preserves can also be bought online or in bulk for trade. Gatehouse sits where the Fleet Valley, one of the Solway's National Scenic Areas, meets the bay.
